A fine Oval striking and repeating Carriage clock in good original condition by Brunelot. What''s highly unusual about this clock is the shape of the case and the attention to detail. The case is not like any we have ever owned or seen before, and bearing in mind we have been here at our shop at the same address for the last 43 years, that''s quite unusual! The movement is ''Gong'' striking on the hour with one blow of the Gong for the half hour. The platform escapement is the original and is working perfectly with a strong action after being serviced, the polished case is of the later style with ''Anglais Riche'' arched handle. The back plate is stamped with the logo B in a circle and most probably dates circa 1900. A fine Carriage clock which was made in Paris .
