It would be difficult to surpass the pedigree of such a clock of this period as the maker was considered to be a multi-talented genius. The backplate is profusely and well engraved with a floral Rococo, intertwining design that is typical of this maker.The 7 1/2'' wide, break-arch brass dial has ornate cast brass corner and arch spandrels and brass ring-framed enamel time and arch date dials.
