Dating from circa 1895 this small eight day striking French Comtoise wall clock is in very good condition. It has a lovely strike function on a spiral gong and being spring-wound as opposed to weight-driven this is more subtle than the larger Comtoise clocks normally found and therefore easier to find a home for. The brass surround has been carefully restored as has the movement and the dial is in very good condition. The height of 12 inches doesnt include the pendulum and this clock comes with my standard two year guarantee
