This is a little bit different! A very large and interesting repeating, alarm, striking carriage clock with the original leather covered travel case. Made by Richard & Co of Paris circa 1890. The design reminds us of the Classicism & Rococco French architecture and we're sure that's exactly what this clock was styled after. The case has been carefully constructed of gilt brass and silver plated brass giving a very pleasant appearance. We have painstakingly taken the whole case and movement to pieces - see pictures. The clock has had a full overhaul and service and is sold with our 24-month guarantee. The original outer leather case has the clocks number on it and is quite large to accommodate this substantial clock. Of the many different types of carriage clocks we have had over the years we have not had one like this. uite unique and rare.
