This set of seven late Art Nouveau German port or schnapps glasses originates from the period around 1910. The hollow glass pieces are rendered in an amber tint and feature tulip-shaped bowls mounted on vertically ribbed stems with flared circular feet. The items show a clear polished finish with visible vertical fluting on the lower bowls and horizontal ring mouldings along the length of each stem. Each individual glass stands approximately 10 cm in height. In a contemporary home, such glassware suits display upon a dining room sideboard top or use within a gentleman's library setting for serving after-dinner drinks.

Glassware produced during the late Art Nouveau and Jugendstil periods in Germany often features organic forms, tinted glass in shades of green or amber, and distinctively textured or ribbed stems influenced by traditional Roemer drinkware.

These vessels were typically hand or mould-blown using soda-lime or potash glass, infused with metallic oxides to create earthy green or amber tones, and finished with ribbed tool work along the stem.

Authentic pieces usually display slight hand-made variations in size and tint, pontil marks or smooth wear on the circular base, and characteristic ribbing along the stem rather than modern machine seams.

A set of tinted glass vessels can be arranged on a dark wood sideboard, a brass drinks trolley, or inside a glazed display cabinet to catch natural light and accentuate their colour.

Hand wash each piece individually in lukewarm water using a mild detergent, avoiding extreme temperature changes and abrasive sponges to prevent thermal shock and surface scratching.
