The Silver Cabinet has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
The silver rims are hallmarked for Birmingham 1902 and the spoon for Birmingham 1913.
The spoon is clearly hallmarked with the maker's name of William Suckling Ltd and is decorated with a foliate design on a shaped handle. The glass is in excellent condition, faceted and clear, with the starburst base which is always a sign of quality.
