Well you don''t see one of these very often! We last had a ''Gadrooned'' gorge case carriage clock around 10 years ago and at that time, that was the first we had ever seen. Now we have a slightly superior one for sale as this one has push repeat and alarm function. The clock strikes the hours on a bell and has a half hour with a single blow of the bell. The case still retains the original gilding, slightly worn but looking bright and very attractive.
