Small Timepiece 'tortioseshell Style' Carriage Clock.

A very attractive small carriage - timepiece dating to 1911. The case is ''tortoiseshell effect'' resin which has been cleverly shaped and decorated with a silver handle and bun feet. The clock is wound through opening the rear door and using the small turn-key. These attractive little clocks always sell quite quickly as they are very hard to find without damage. This one is perfect. The hallmarks indicate a H.A & Co. This could quite possible be Henry Adams & Co of Glasgow who are still trading and have been since the times of George III !
