The figured base is also paneled with a double plinth. The decorative ball and eagle finials can be removed if they do not suit your interior, they simply lift out. The 8 day movement is driven by two brass cased weights and a brass faced pendulum bob. The clock has no markings what so ever which is highly unusual as the clock is such good quality throughout. Our best guess is this was made for a substantial company boardroom or hall and perhaps was requested to be 'unbranded' we shall never know ! It really doesn't matter though, as the clock is magnificent and would grace many an interior, contemporary or classic. The strike is on the hour on a large bronze bell, quite soft. The clock can be delivered and set up within 40 miles of our shop or contact us for a quote if further afield. Further pictures can be requested. 24 month (UK) Guarantee
