William Wright was a good clockmaker based in Ongar, Essex. He is recorded working from 1780 until 1832 in the book of Essex clock and Watchmakers. It is a very attractive colour Mahogany and has good patination with it''s original, old Wax finish. The dial is what''s called a ''full silvered dial'' and has now been fully restored, we have taken several photos of this restoration which may appeal to someone who is interested in the clock and we also have a little history of the clock too. The clock features Strike - Silent to the arch, bell striking on the hour, calendar and seconds hands. Runs for a week on a full wind. We can deliver the clock locally (within 10miles) free of charge and we can set the clock up and fix to the wall if desired. This is an attractive example and unusually of quite small proportions. Please visit our showrooms to inspect. We are members of L.A.P.A.D.A and the Watch & Clockmakers Guild. Sold with a full 24 month (U.K.)
As seen on T.V. Salvage Hunt...ers - The Restorers ! Please remember we are closed Sundays and Mondays, open every other day from 9am until 5pm . If we have not responded to an email, we may not have received it...please call or whatsapp us as well.
