The tall decorative urn stands 45 cm high, 26 cm wide, and 26 cm deep, making it a substantial focal point for display on a mantelpiece. The body exhibits an ornate hand-painted central reserve depicting romantic figures in a landscape, framed by scrolling gilded embellishments against the dark blue ground. Elaborate gilt-bronze mask head handles flank the upper body, whilst intricate ormolu mounts accent the tall neck and the matching lid, which is topped by a carved floral finial.
