A good example of a ''Corniche'' carriage clock with strike on a gong . The clock retains the original silvered jewelled lever escapement and strikes on a gong for the hours and the half hours . The white enamelled dial with Roman numerals and the original very fine Breguet type hands . Circa 1890 . The case is ''Satin'' gilt and looks bright but ''soft'' on the eye
