Steve Sly Japanese Works of Art has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
The condition for one of these clocks is better than usual , it has a couple of missing veneer slithers on the very bottom of the scrolling base , it comes with key and pendulem and is currently ticking away nicely on the wall of my shop .
Please note we do not sell antique clocks as accurate timepieces but simply as display pieces ,although they work please assume in all cases that any clock we sell will need setting up by an expert before use .
