A three-piece garniture set comprises campana-shaped porcelain vases in the Regency and William IV style, dating from circa 1835. The porcelain carries an apple green glaze with extensive gold leaf and enamel paint. Each piece displays a hand-painted floral panel set upon a marble ledge, accented by acanthus leaf moulding, raised paste tooled gilding with neoclassical motifs, twin scroll handles, and square pedestals raised on four solid gilded lion's paw feet. The pair of smaller vases measures 12 cm high by 8.5 cm wide, whilst the larger central vase measures 14.5 cm high by 10 cm wide. Placement suits a prominent mantelpiece in a formal living room or drawing room to display decorative floral arrangements or stand alone as fine decorative porcelain. The set functions well arranged symmetrically on a surface to add a touch of grand Regency style to an interior scheme. Collectors of nineteenth-century British ceramics will find the pieces integrate easily into existing displays of period mantel garnitures and decorative porcelain.

A garniture is a matched set of decorative porcelain vessels, historically arranged symmetrically across a mantelpiece, cabinet top, or sideboard in 18th and 19th-century European interiors.

English porcelain from this period typically utilized bone china or soft-paste porcelain, finished with hand-painted enamel botanical studies, burnished gold leaf gilding, and intricate moulded relief details.

Authentic pieces feature distinctive painted or impressed factory marks, high-precision enamelling often attributed to documented artists, rich mercury gilding, and period-correct square pedestal bases with paw feet.

Arrange the three-piece set symmetrically along a stone or marble fireplace mantelpiece, or position them together as a focal centerpiece on a dark timber console table or sideboard.

Dust gently with a soft dry brush, avoiding water submersion or chemical detergents, as moisture and friction can wear away delicate gilding and overglaze enamel paintwork.
