Antique Edwardian Mahogany Cabinet Original Key C1900

A handsome and practical antique Edwardian mahogany cabinet, dating from approximately 1900–1915.

This elegant piece features a beautifully figured mahogany exterior with a rich, warm colour and attractive natural grain. The two panelled doors are fitted with decorative period-style metal drop handles and retain the original working key, adding to the authenticity and charm of the cabinet.

The cabinet stands on four slender tapered legs fitted with small castors, making it easier to reposition when required. A raised gallery to the rear of the top gives the piece a refined period profile and also makes the top surface practical for display.

Behind the double doors is a spacious interior fitted with two shelves, providing useful storage for books, tableware, linens, drinks, office items or general household use.

The cabinet is in very good antique condition, remaining solid, stable and practical for everyday use.

There are minor age-related marks, light scratches and signs of previous use consistent with its age, all contributing to the authentic character and patina of the piece.
