A superb generously proportioned buttoned leather footstool, circa 1800.

The stool has been newly upholstered in thick, quality leather, traditionally hand-dyed to achieve its distinctive deep red colour, giving the piece a unique and characterful finish. The generous deep buttoning creates an elegant, luxurious surface, complemented by a brass-studded trim, with every individual stud hand-tacked for a quality finish.

Raised on beautifully shaped reeded sabre legs.
