Victorian 1.00 Carat Old Cut Diamond Solitaire Ring, Circa 1890

Description

A fabulous French antique diamond ring. The ring centres on a 1.00 carat (approx.) old mine cut diamond, with eight smaller rose cut diamonds in the shoulders. The stones are set in an ornate 18k yellow gold mount, richly decorated with scrolling foliate detail and touches of dark blue enamel. A unique and characterful antique diamond ring.

Accompanied by an independent jewellery report from WGI.

Cut:  Old mine cut in the centre, with rose cut diamonds in the shoulders.

Colour:  The centre is G. The rose cuts range between G and H.

Clarity:  The centre is SI1. The rose cuts are SI1.

Carat:  The centre is approximately 1.00 carat, with a further approximate 0.15 carat in the shoulders.

Circa:  1890.

Size:  M 1/2 (UK) or 6 1/4 (US). Free sizing available. There is a limit to how much this can be altered, so please contact us prior to ordering should you need this resized.

Measurements:  The diamond is approximately 5.73 x 5.45mm. Sits 4.1mm from the finger.

Weight:  4.24 grams.

Metal:  18k yellow gold. Faint French marks, and tested with a Niton DXL Precious Metal Analyzer to confirm.
