Every single antique dealer on our platform is individually approved by our internal team. We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

Popularised during the late nineteenth century, Victorian cluster rings feature a central gemstone surrounded by a halo or flower-head arrangement of accent stones. These designs were crafted to symbolise affection and frequently incorporated botanical motifs.

Rings from this era were primarily crafted using eighteen-carat or fifteen-carat yellow gold, silver-topped gold settings, or platinum towards the turn of the century. Diamonds featured hand-faceted old European or old mine cuts set into claw or collet settings.

Authentic period pieces feature hand-cut diamonds with open culets, steep crown angles, and small table facets that reflect light softly. Look for period hallmark stampings, hand-engraved details, and subtle hand-crafted variations in the setting.

An antique cluster ring functions as a refined standalone statement piece or can be stacked alongside minimalist modern gold bands. Its traditional floral silhouette pairs effortlessly with formal evening attire or tailored everyday wear.

Clean the piece gently using warm water, mild dish liquid, and a soft-bristled brush, avoiding harsh chemicals or ultrasonic cleaners that could loosen historic settings. Regular professional inspections ensure that individual claws remain secure over time.
