Description

A quite amazing vintage emerald solitaire ring. The emerald in the centre - certified as having received minor oil and originating from Colombia - displays a bright, richly saturated green with bluish undertones. The stone is claw set in yellow gold, and sits between diamond-set shoulders to a slender 18k yellow gold shank.

Accompanied by a report from GemResearch SwissLab (GRS) stating the emerald has received only minor clarity enhancement, and originates from Colombia.

Cut:  Square step-cut emerald. Eight-cut diamonds.

Colour:  The diamonds are F to G.

Clarity:  The emerald is moderately included. The diamonds are VS1.

Carat:  The emerald is 0.89 carat. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.16 carat.

Circa:  1960.

Size:  J (UK) or 4 5/8 (US). Free sizing available.

Measurements:  The emerald is 6.20 x 6.11mm. Sits 5.5mm from the finger.

Weight:  2.76 grams.
