Pretty Chinoiserie Mantle Clock

1900 - 1920
Description

This is a very pretty Chinese chinoiserie lacquer case clock in nice original condition dating from around 1920.

The movement is in good working order keeping good time. This has an integral key to the back and runs for 8 days winding once a week.

The attractive case is decorated with chinoiserie designs raised on solid brass button feet. The face has bold Arabic numerals and an attractive engine turned gilt bronze dial.

A lovely pretty clock measuring 16 cms high 13 cms wide by 7.5 deep.

Rams Head Antiques is a family business based in Wolsingham in Weardale where we have had shop premises for 28 years. The shop is generally open every Saturday from 11 am till 3 pm.
