Antique 20th century Edwardian display cabinet in oak, a beautifully detailed piece that perfectly combines elegant craftsmanship with practical display space.

Very well made and of good quality, this handsome cabinet is full of period charm and would make a striking addition to a dining room, living room, hallway or study.

The cabinet features a beautifully glazed leaded glass front, allowing treasured china, glassware or collectibles to be displayed whilst remaining protected. Inside are two shelves providing generous display space, and the cabinet retains its original key. Raised on elegant turned legs united by a sturdy supporting stretcher, it has a light and refined appearance that is characteristic of Edwardian furniture.

The upper section is beautifully carved with a high level of attention to detail, adding depth and character to the overall design. The oak displays gorgeous natural grain and a rich, warm colour throughout, while the combination of the leaded glazing, carved decoration and elegant proportions makes this a particularly desirable example.
