Description

Useful early 19th.c. Welsh oak kitchen cupboard or press, North Wales c.1810. In two pieces with a two door cupboard top fitted with two shelves (internal depth 16") over a chest of two short and two long drawers of graduated height. Broad ogee cornice over a mahogany veneered frieze, flat door panels within a raised moulding, doors flanked with quarter columns in mahogany with unusual inlaid bone detail top and bottom. Solid oak drawer fronts with brass swan neck handles. Solid oak side. Raised on tall shaped feet with exposed dovetails to the front. Very good colour and condition with some previous restorations. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Key supplied.
