?arts And Crafts Satinwood Open Bookcase

A good quality Arts and Crafts style open bookcase dating from the late 19th Century. It is made from satinwood with a lovely colour and patina. It has attractive shaped sides with pierced floral and geometric designs. It was likely made as a set of hanging shelves and has been put on bracket feet later but the base is very well made with dovetail joints and a shaped apron mirroring the shape of the top border.
 
It is in good condition for its age and is strong and sturdy. There are some minor signs of age and use, a few marks and knocks but nothing detrimental and no major damages. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
