While Art Deco was the height of fashion in Paris, many French cabinet makers continued to produce these curvaceous, feminine designs for clients who preferred the classic ''Chateau'' look. These have three drawers with decorative brass handles and even applications to the back legs as well as the front. They show some signs of age with fading on the back of one especially and the normal knocks and scrapes of use.
