A Handsome George III Scottish Longcase Clock By William Mcewan Of Auchterarder

A lovely quality George III mahogany longcase clock. Circa 1800. The painted arched dial has both date and seconds hands and the hood is topped with a swan neck pediment surmounted with gilt finials. The movement runs for eight days, striking the hours on a bell. The richly coloured mahogany case is in a good and original condition. It measures 222cm (87½'') high, 46cm (18'') wide and 21.5cm (8½'') deep.
 
The movement has been fully serviced and is in excellent running order.
