Arundel Clocks has dated this French Brass Mantel Clock to the 1870s.
I have for sale a 1870s French Brass mantle clock.
The Case
The case is in solid shiny brass and solid copper sheets with silvered inlay, it stands a large 38cm high x 26cm wide with a depth of 14cm it is in perfect condition with only very small brass imperfections this clock is stunning the pictures do not do justice to this clcok at all. .

The back door is solid brass.
The whole case is in stunning condition 99% mint and so heavy and very hard to photograph.

The Movement
The movement is an eight day time and strike runs great over eight days keeping good time and striking the hours and halves on a small coiled gong a very mellow sound, the movement was restored about 18 months ago so keeps great time.
The matching pendulum is present and I have the key the case movement and pendulum and the numbers on the urns all match.
Overall a very rare clock which is top quality.
