A Late Victorian Regency Style Clothes Press C1890

A late Victorian Regency style clothes press and dating from around 1890. This original clothes press has a dental moulded cornice, with a wide lip underneath. It has two doors to the top both of which are moulded with a satin wood cross banded edge with brass handles and escutheons. Inside are shelves on the left and a rail is on the right. The base is moulded around the top with two short drawers over two long graduating drawers all of which are Oak lined with original brass handles and ivoreen escutheons and a satin wood cross banded edge to the drawer fronts. It is moulded around the bottom and stands on bracket feet. The top lifts off the base for ease of movement.
