Victorian Mahogany Mirrored Wardrobe

A handsome Victorian mahogany wardrobe, dating from the second half of the 19th century, with attractive figured veneers and a warm polished finish. The wardrobe has a strong architectural appearance, with a moulded cornice above the panelled front and a central mirrored door.

The door is framed with particularly attractive figured mahogany veneers and flanked by tall arched decorative panels. Opening to reveal a useful hanging interior, the wardrobe is fitted with a hanging rail and a series of hooks. Below is a large full-width drawer fitted with decorative brass handles, providing useful additional storage.

The combination of good-quality mahogany, figured veneers and the full-length mirror makes this an attractive and practical piece of Victorian bedroom furniture.
