A stunning pair of antique satin wood bedside chests. They were made in France, they date from around the 1900-1920 period.The quality is outstanding, they are a useful and impressive size, with plenty of storage space. The satin wood has a gorgeous colour tone and lovely silky grain patterns. There is a single drawer and the top of each cabinet, the two drawers below are actually dummy drawers which open to reveal cabinet spaces. The drawer fronts and top edges have high quality brass borders, there are also beautifully intricate brass handles.
