Edwardian silver and glass items typically reflect the elegance and opulence of the early 20th century, often drawing inspiration from neoclassical motifs like swags, ribbons, and garlands.

These items were crafted using blown or moulded coloured glass combined with sterling silver mounts, frequently decorated via embossing, repousse, or chased detailing by skilled silversmiths.

Authenticity is verified through clear British hallmarks stamped on the silver, indicating the assay office, makers mark, and date letter corresponding to the early 1900s.

This piece works well as a decorative accent on a mirrored vanity tray, a dressing table, or styled atop a stack of books on an open shelf.

Preserve the piece by cleaning the silver with a soft microfibre cloth and specialized polish while avoiding harsh chemicals on the glass and stopper.
