Clean gently with warm water and a soft cloth, avoiding harsh chemicals, extreme temperature fluctuations, and abrasive scrubbers to protect the delicate surface.

Such pieces function as sculptural decorative accents on sideboards, open shelving, or bar carts, combining historical texture with functional utility.

Authenticity is indicated by a polished pontil mark on the base, hand-cut facets with uneven wear consistent with age, and a distinct greyish hue or inclusions within the lead glass.

These vessels were typically crafted from heavy flint lead glass, prized for its high refractive index and clarity, often finished with ground-glass stoppers.

The Georgian style spans the reigns of the British monarchs George I through George IV, characterised by heavy lead-metal content, hand-blown techniques, and distinctive optical or prismatic cutting.
