A French striking carriage clock by noted maker, Henri Jacot. An enamel dial with Roman numerals and blued steel hands. A brass case with bevelled glass panels
 
An 8-day duration mechanism striking the hours and 1/2 hours on a gong. The original escapement visible through the oval top glass. Numbered to the mechanism 4453 and the HJ stamp mark. Circa 1885.
