Dutch Style Shaped Cabinet on Chest

1900 - 1920
Description

Circa 1920s. Stylish Dutch style burr walnut shaped front cabinet on chest, the polished top with elegant moulded cornice, the front with a pair of full-length shaped doors with moulded arches and burr walnut panels, inside the cupboard is a pair of shelves with follow the form of the front, the base with a flat polished surface, and four full length graduating drawers, each is shaped as the top and have pierced cast brass escutcheon, elegant drop handles, beneath the bottom drawer there is moulding and the chest rests on four elegant squat cabriole legs with extended quarter brackets with C scrolls, finishing on a pad foot.
