Technical Description

A rare 18th century quadruple knop opaque twist wine glass dating to c1760.

It has a bell bowl above a double series opaque twist stem consisting of a 3-ply spiral band outside a gauze, the stem with four knops. Conical foot.

A well balanced and rare example.

Date & Origin

England, C1760. Period of George III.

Condition

There is a small pin prick on foot rim, which is just part of the wear from 250 years of use. No chips, cracks, or restoration.
