A Fabulous Victorian Silver & Turquoise Mounted Scent Bottle

A fabulous Victorian silver mounted scent bottle. This unusual and eye catching example, has an aquamarine glass body, of lobed form and a stepped pedestal foot. To the front are handpainted enamel Lily of the Valley. The screw top lid is silver, set with turquoise and has the original engraved monogram CMC. Inside the lid seals with a cork. A lovely and desirable collector's item, with a practical use. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Excellent, with no chips or cracks to the glass. The silver has no splits or holes.

Hallmarks :- Unmarked, but tests as silver.

Date :- c1880.

Height :- 10.8 cms.

Diameter :- 6 cms. (widest point).
