An Austrian Art Nouveau iridescent glass vase by Wilhelm Kralik, c.1900. The opalescent body is enriched with applied green glass decoration in the form of stylised foliage and raised petal forms. The organic, flowing contours and pinched tri-lobed rim are typical of the Secessionist influence on Central European glass design at the turn of the century. A decorative example of Jugendstil artistry from the historic Bohemian glassmaking region.
