Description

A stunning pair of Art Deco bedside cabinets in birds eye maple and walnut. They were made in England, they date from the 1930’s.

They are beautifully made and are of superb quality. The birds eye maple has a gorgeous blonde colour tone with lovely grain patterns, contrasting nicely with the walnut banding on the top and lower edges. They stand on oval scrolled feet, with nickel and Bakelite handles. They are a useful size, not too imposing and with plenty of storage space.

We have had them recently stripped and re-polished to a very high standard, the condition is superb throughout, with some minor historical wear remaining beneath the polish here and there.
