This Victorian French brass striking carriage clock from 1880 comes complete with its original leather travelling case and key. The warm brass case features clean architectural mouldings around the base and cornice, a white enamel dial with black Roman numerals, bevelled glass side panels, and a distinctive shaped folding carrying handle on top. The original hands sit above the dial face, which is stamped J.L Mason Rue de Paris. The piece measures 17 cm high, 9 cm wide, and 8.5 cm deep.
