Description

A large and substantial iron and wood strong box with no locking mechanism unlike is most other strong boxes. This chest was meant to be securely chained and locked with padlocks. The labsence of handles but rather iron hoops suggest the chest was meant to be carried on wooden poles by four men, and research suggests it may have been intended for bullion. In untouched condition. Now an ideal coffee table.
