Having a wave scroll border, within a ‘crimped’ rim.

The reverse with three flowering branches, and four spur marks.
Whilst commonly referred to as ‘Deshima Island’, it is likely that such pieces are based on a depiction of Scheveningen, after Frederick van Frijtom (1652-1702), and found on Dutch Delft wares.
Diameter – 19.5 cm, 7 3/4”.
Condition – Typical minor chips to the reverse of the plate. No restoration.
