A Nautical timepiece with a French eight day movement regulated by a large high quality English lever platform escapement, behind a silvered roman dial with blued steel spade hands under bevel glass. The movement is housed in a nickel and gilt case in the form of a ships wheel supported by an anchor with intersecting cannons. All mounted on a black marble base with gilded plinth.
