Clockwise has dated this piece to the 1940s.
The numbers on the dial refer to the Admiralty stores stock number.

Dating from circa 1940 this clock has a beveled glass hinged locking door and the dial and heavy brass case are in excellent original condition; there is the usual fine timing adjustment on the 8 inch dial and the original hands and bevelled glass finish off this lovely piece. The high quality movement is fitted with a fine lever escapement platform and the entire piece has just been fully dismantled, serviced and cleaned. The case benefits from outer case hand setting and hack controls, both fully working. This clock is covered by my three year warranty. Delivery can be arranged, please contact me for further details.

This is just one of many ships clocks that I have currently for sale.
