The World is Made of Glass Ltd. has dated this piece to the 18th Century.
The glasses are in excellent condition. They show age related wear and tear to the rims of the feet consistent with some 270 years of use.
The glasses have extended rounded funnel bowls that measure 5.8 cm (2.3 inches) in diameter across the bowl rims.
The glasses are 18.3 cm (7.3 inches) in height. The bowls sit on single series air twist stems consisting of two intertwined spiral air strands. The stems end in conical feet that measure 7.1 cm (2.8 inches) in diameter. The undersides of the feet bear rough pontil marks. There are no chips, cracks, other significant scratches or any evidence of restoration.
Excellent glasses for a good white wine. Lead glass, each weighing in at 175 g. (~ 6 oz.).
