An Art Deco Murano 1920s Hand Blown Iridescent Scavo Glass Bowl, 22cm Twin Handles.
A magnificent hand blown Murano Vetri D’Arte Art Deco twin handles bowl of delightful asymmetric form and rare Opaline iridescent scavo finish.
An early example of the scavo experimental finish technique. Scavo translates from Italian to excavation, the technique recreates the early Roman excavated glass as it came out of the ground, the ingrained grime is a specific technique and this being an early 1920s, Art Deco model.
