Royal China Works Worcester Reticulated Vases, D. 1891.

19th century
Description

Pair of Royal China Works Worcester porcelain vases, dated 1891. The Islamic inspired vases, reticulated to the lobed body, with shield shaped panels of reticulated scroll work, edged in gilt.

Having tall necks, that rise above a gilt leaf moulded collar, and having a band of reticulated flowerheads, whilst the top rims have a section of arched reticulation. All heightened in gilt.

Printed factory marks, date code for 1891, registration number and model number G231 to both vases.

Height – 20 cm, 7 7/8”.

Diameter – 12.5 cm, 4 7/8”.

Condition – Excellent. No damage. No restoration.
