Swedish hand painted 19th century pine cupboard circa 1788.

We are pleased to offer this fine piece of traditional hand painted scandinavian furniture, in the form of a double door cupboard.

Modest architectural cornice, below which the hand painted doors with fielded panels, featuring hand painted florals to the panels and around the door edges. Doors open to reveal a later painted interior and 4 fixed pine shelves to provide plenty of storage for clothes or bed linens, could also be used in the kitchen as a pantry. Raised on flat bun feet.

Expected fading and minor losses to original paintwork. Minor natural warping to door. Replacement lock.
