A Charming 'Queen's Burmese' Glass Posy Vase

A pretty glass posy vase, in sought after Queen's Burmese ware. These delightful pieces were made in the latter part of the 19th Century and are most likely the work of Thomas Webb's Factory. The body has the characteristic satin finish with graduated pink, fading into cream. The uranium content causes the vase to glow green under UV light. The body has a pinched waist, ribbing and a flared, undulating rim. A collectable example, this lovely piece would make an excellent gift idea being both practical and decorative. Dimensions below.
