The Edwardian period spans from 1901 to 1910, characterised by a transition from heavy Victorian ornamentation to lighter, more refined neo-classical motifs influenced by French 18th-century styles.

Glassware from this era was typically hand-blown and finished using techniques such as acid etching, wheel engraving, or wheel cutting to produce delicate floral and garland patterns.

Authentic pieces often exhibit minor irregularities such as pontil marks, tiny air bubbles within the glass, hand-etched detailing with slight variations, and the characteristic weight and clarity of lead crystal or soda-lime glass from the period.

These versatile pieces can be used for serving champagne or classic cocktails, adding a layer of tactile texture and historical interest to contemporary bar carts, dining tables, and display cabinets.

Antique glass should always be washed by hand in warm water using a mild, non-abrasive detergent. Avoid sudden temperature changes to prevent thermal shock, and dry with a lint-free cloth.
