Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

Glass perfume bottles from the 1930s Art Deco era are defined by bold geometric silhouettes, angular lines, and dramatic colour contrasts such as black, purple, or red enamel paired with clear crystal. Makers during this period favoured abstract patterns, stylized botanical engravings, and polished chrome or silver-plated caps over ornate Victorian embellishments.

Bohemian glassmakers utilised mouth-blown lead crystal or heavy glass shaped into geometric or spherical forms. Decorative elements were added using acid etching, hand-painted enamel panels, and wheel-cut engraving, often finished with fitted stoppers or metal collar caps.

Authentic Karl Palda glassware is identified by distinct geometric enamel patterns, often combining black enamel, clear etched panels, and vibrant stained glass sections like ruby or amethyst. While rarely signed, the precision of the cut glass and high-contrast geometric enamelling are key indicators of Palda production.

Displaying a pair of glass scent bottles on a dressing table, bathroom vanity, or mirrored tray adds texture and architectural interest. Placing them near direct light highlights the cut glass facets and stained enamel panels.

Clean glass surfaces gently using a soft, dry lint-free cloth, avoiding harsh chemical cleaners or abrasive pads that could scratch the enamel or etching. Metal caps should be dusted lightly, avoiding prolonged moisture exposure to prevent tarnish or corrosion.
