A stunning rare cased English Victorian antique solid sterling silver fish slice or server. It is hallmarked for London 1855 with the maker being Elizabeth Eaton. It has been superbly made to what is termed double struck Kings pattern. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. The case is also superb other than the loop on the closing catch is missing, easy to make with some brass wire. It measures approx. 12.5 inches (31.2cm) long by 2.75 inches (6.8cm) wide and weighs 194 grams excluding the case. A super quality piece.
